All Natural Ways to Build Muscle

As many of you know, there are what seem to be several thousand types of muscle enhancing products on the market. Everyday someone else has a new product. With the advent of these products comes the thought of one thing….

Are these products really safe for us? Do they even work? Are they just a bunch of hype with a clever marketing scheme behind them in order to sell something?

Good question…

As many of you know, there have been a ton of studies on som e these products. When these studies come to pass, some of these well-known products end up getting thrown out and banned. Then we all get left wondering how much damage that certain product did to us.

Then on the opposite side of the spectrum you have people who take banned substances. They get great results but many of them end up having some major complications that can even lead to death down the line.

So what do we do if we want to build muscle naturally?

Here are some solutions for those of you who want to build muscle naturally!

1 EAT ENOUGH FOOD

Some people think that in order to GAIN MUSCLE, they need to cut what they eat in half. This couldn’t any further from the truth. It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female, if you want to gain muscle you need to eat, and eat a lot. Now what you eat matters a ton, if you’re putting down pizza and things like that, you’re not going to gain mass, but you will gain flab.

You need the correct amount of nutrients in order for your muscles to grow, without them it’s almost pointless to even try. You’re not going to get muscles by eating cheeseburger, don’t kid yourself. As a good rule of thumb eat every 2-3 hours, small fist size portion meals. You don’t want to overeat, because if you do that, it’s going to turn into fat.

Also guide you’re eating habits by how you work out. The harder you work out, the more nutrients your body is going to require. If you don’t know what to do, find someone who does know what to do eating wise.

2. Lift Heavy

When I say LIFT HEAVY, what I mean is lift heavier than you normally do. Some people think that lifting heavy means that they should go out and lift as much as possible, to the point that they’re about to get hurt. You have to lift SMART when you go heavy, if you’re sacrificing your form in order to lift heavy; you need to lessen the load.

Lifting heavy will help to put stress on the muscles, therefor breaking them down and helping them to grow. Now if you feel any kind of pain or something wrong, you need to lessen the load. Make sure you get a spotter or someone who knows what they’re doing. Make sure you also study the lifts you want to perform before doing them. Knowledge is the key to growth, so the more knowledgeable you are, the better off you’re going to be.

3. Sleep

This is a major thing that many people miss out on. They do well in the gym and ok on eating, but when it comes time to sleep, they do terrible at it. You can’t expect to grow big and strong If you don’t get enough sleep. This is the time that your body will be repairing itself, it needs sleep in order to rebuild.

 

So as a good rule of thumb, you should at least be getting 7-10 hours of sleep. If you can’t get 7, at least get 6 and try to find a way to get in an hour nap during the day. This helps me out when I’m really busy. Also find ways to relax, meditation is a good way to keep yourself calm. Also use breathing techniques and visualization, see your muscle growing and they will.
