3 Paleo Shrimp Recipes!
These 3 great recipes are awesome for lunch or dinner. Cook them up for you guests or serve them at a party, these are excellent choices for those of you looking to eat healthy!
Grilled Juneau Shrimp
Makes dinner for two with leftover shrimp to us the following day in your salad or other meals.
cooking time: 15 minutes with an additional 30 minutes for marinade
Ingredients:
- wooden skewers
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil or melted coconut oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 2 lbs large shrimp with tail left on
- lime wedges
- parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in warm water.
- Mix olive or coconut oil, garlic, lemon and spices in a large, shallow bowl. Add shrimp and let sit in refrigerator for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Prepare the grill just before meal time.
- Put marinated shrimp on skewers.
- Place on hot grill. Turn after a few minutes on each side and remove when bright pink and fully cooked (about 1-2 minutes per side).
- Serve with lime wedges and chopped parsley.

Pear, Frisee, Avocado and Shrimp Salad
Prep time: 5 mins
Total time: 5 mins
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
- 2 heads frisee, washed and cut in half
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1 small, ripe avocado, thinly sliced
- 2 jumbo wild shrimp, poached
- Extra virgin olive oil, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Arrange frisse in two salad bowls or plates.
- Fan pear and avocado evenly on each plate.
- Add one shrimp to each.
- Drizzle with olive oil, to taste
- Finish with freshly ground black pepper
THEN SERVE IT UP AND ENJOY!!!!

Yummy Paleo Cajun Shrimp!
Ingredients:
- 1 Cajun shrimp seasoning packet
- Approximately 24 precooked medium sized shrimp
- 1/3-1/2 butter stick
- 1/3-1/2 lemon juiced
Instructions
- Put all shrimp in a pan on a low-medium heat (if your shrimp are frozen be sure to run room temperature water over them before you cook them to be sure they are defrosted)
- Add whole packet of Cajun Choice Shrimp seasoning evenly on top of the shrimp.
- Cut butter into small pieces and add directly into pan.
- Once butter is all melted stir shrimp, seasoning and butter all together.
- Add lemon to mixture.
- Stir some more to make sure lemon is all over shrimp.
- Cook for about 2 more min and serve.
- Enjoy!
